I could have sworn that I had already made a journal about this, but I guess it slipped my mind.

I started up a blog for various indie game development stuff that I feel like rambling about. Be that notes on the current developments of my studio, or tips tricks, and tutorials.

Four years ago someone smashed into my parked car, and drove away.

The repair shop said it was totaled and my insurance company didn't even give me 1/4 the value of the car, so I had no way to get a new vehicle. I'm unemployed other than the tiny bit of freelance work I manage to get here on dA, and now I have a wife and a newborn child, and still have no means of transportation.

Everything I make I have to put in to helping pay bills, buy food and now diapers, and still remain with no way to get around. It's hell begging people for rides. This fund is solely to help us with getting a car (no, I'm not trying to get a shiny new car, though that would be nice. I'll settle for anything that runs well, and is safe to drive for my family) I should be able to find something for $7K, and if not, then the money can sit in a savings account until I can get enough together to get a car.

So, if you could dig into your pockets and pull out a few bucks to help out a fellow freelance artist in need, that would really rock. I'll gladly do a commission (of any of my services) for you as a thank you if you donate and let me know that you donated.
